Formula 1 "Scene"

It's a real pity; whatever thats happening in/to Formula 1. The season was going on smoothly. It seemed that there was so much competition between the Ferrari's, the McLaren's and even the BMW Saubers. But after the whole McLaren Spy row, it just isn't the same in F1. Any team can acquire any other teams' classified information!

McLaren has always been an unreliable car, but off late they've gotten better in their performance and reliability. I think I know the reason why. You do too!
It has a LOT to do with this Spy row. Ferrari is THE MOST consistent F1 car there is.

Now, the engineers of the two outfits were in contact with each other, with McLaren's Mike Coughlan asking Ferrari's Nigel Stepney about the "red" car's configuration. Coughlan was the Chief Designer and Stepney was the former Team Manager for their respective teams.

Coughlan asked Stepney about all sorts of stuff about the technical aspects of the Ferrari.

They were sacked. Then McLaren were stripped off their points for the whole year. They can't score any points in the coming weeks either! McLaren punished.

BUT the thing that I DON'T like is that none of the drivers were punished. It's a fact that the 2-time world champion Fernando Alonso, test driver Pedro De La Rosa and Coughlan were in contact with Nigel Stepney throught e-mail and SMS.

It's a pity the drivers weren't fined AT ALL. I would have loved to have seen Kimi at the top of the drivers' standings !!!
